Moon Dog redefines Melbourne’s hospitality scene with its expansive 2,200 sqm design, offering guests a truly immersive experience. This Urban Oasis combines industrial heritage with lush greenery and innovative design, creating a vibrant and versatile destination.
As you enter, a 15-meter-long tunnel made from shipping container panels nods to Docklands’ industrial roots. This unique feature builds anticipation, setting the stage for the awe-inspiring venue beyond. Once inside, guests are greeted by towering palm trees, vertical gardens, and dynamic lighting, blending scale and sophistication seamlessly.
At the heart of Moon Dog is the Oasis Bar, a 12-meter-wide masterpiece with a 5-meter-tall steel structure. This showstopping centrepiece, visible from every corner of the venue, draws guests in with its circular design and playful carnival lights. Surrounding the bar, a mezzanine and boardwalks create defined spaces that break up the vastness of the venue while offering unique vantage points and inviting social hubs.
Moon Dog’s’ design celebrates versatility. The Island, with its organic cork-floored stage, flows into The Deck and The Rocks—intimate spaces for private dining and socialising. These thoughtfully crafted areas ensure comfort and connection, even within a large venue.
The Terrace Bar provides an elevated experience, featuring organic shapes, natural materials, and stunning views of Marvel Stadium. Designed for both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations, the space remains seamlessly connected to the venue, offering a perfect balance of privacy and integration.
Even the finer details at Moon Dog captivate. The keg room, visible through large windows, showcases the brewing process, while the bathrooms feature vibrant tiles and custom vanity bowls, reflecting the venue’s playful and energetic vibe.
Built in under six months, Doglands is more than a venue—it’s a destination. Its scale, thoughtful design, and immersive atmosphere ensure every visit is an unforgettable journey through taste, design, and hospitality.
